IntroducingFR370 Asahi Kasei PA66 FR370(Polyamide/Nylon)

Flame retardant, UL94V-0, flame retardant without halogen or phosphorus, similar to FR200, but improved welding heat resistance, suitable for electrical connectors, coil bearing centers, etc.

Polyamide-66

1.PA66 has a higher melting point in polyamide materials. It is a semi-crystalline - crystalline material. It can also maintain strong strength and stiffness at higher temperatures. It still has hygroscopicity after forming, and its degree mainly depends on the composition of the material, wall thickness and environmental conditions. So in production ,The influence of hygroscopicity on geometric stability must be considered in product design.


2.PA66 has high mechanical strength, high softening point, heat resistance, low friction coefficient, wear resistance, oil resistance, good electrical insulation, self-extinguishing, non-toxic, odorless, good weather resistance,PA66 is less viscous and therefore very liquid (but not as good as PA6).


3.This property can be used to process very thin components. Its viscosity is very sensitive to temperature changes. The shrinkage rate is between 1% and 2%, and the addition of glass fiber additives can reduce the shrinkage rate to 0.2% to 1%


4.The shrinkage rate varies greatly in the direction of the flow and in the direction perpendicular to the flow direction.Widely used in the automotive industry, textile machinery industry, instrument housing and other products requiring impact resistance and high strength requirements
