Characteristics and performance:
1.High strength and rigidity: PA66's tensile strength (80-90 MPa) and bending modulus (2800-3200 MPa) are leading in engineering plastics and suitable for structural parts.
High temperature resistance: melting point 265°C, continuous use temperature up to 120-140°C (glass fiber reinforced up to 200°C).
2.Wear-resistant self-lubrication: low friction coefficient (0.1-0.3), high PV value, suitable for gears and bearings.
3.Chemical resistance: oil, weak acid, weak alkali, but vulnerable to strong acid/alkali corrosion (such as concentrated sulfuric acid, ).
4.Water absorption: Saturated water absorption rate of 2.5-3.0%, need to be pre-dried (recommended 120°C for 4 hours).
5.Electrical properties: volume resistivity 10¹ Ω·cm, dielectric strength 30 kV/mm, suitable for electronic parts.
Application field:
1.Automotive: Throttle housing (temperature 180°C), turbo tube (oil resistance), harness connector (UL94 V0 flame retardant).
2.Industry: conveyor bearing (load 30kN), textile shuttle (wear life > 100,000 times).
3.Electronics: Circuit breaker housing (CTI 600V), 5G radome (dielectric constant 3.5).
4.Consumer goods: power tool gear box (noise <60dB), sports shoe buckle (resistance to bending 100,000 times).
